1/12/2012 - President's Message

Dear Friends:

Happy New Year 2012! I wish everyone a successful, prosperous, healthy and happy new year. The year already is off to a more promising start than 2011. Congress passed an omnibus budget bill that gave the judiciary more funding than it had projected to receive; Congress extended the payroll tax deduction; and the Obama Administration reportedly will propose a .5 percent pay increase for federal employees in fiscal year 2013. There is no telling what change is in store for 2012.

1/9/2012 - White House to propose 0.5 percent pay increase

The Obama administration will propose a 0.5 percent salary increase for civilian federal employees in its fiscal 2013 budget proposal, the Washington Post reports. The paper says two senior administration officials with knowledge of budget plans confirmed that the proposal would be included. ...
