Judiciary employees and the majority of our membership could be facing an uncertain future as discussions in Washington seem to be revolving around raising the nation’s borrowing limit, deficit reduction and cost containment. Unpaid furloughs are a real possibility, and the potential for layoffs has Court staff on edge to say the least. During the past six months your board has been working on ways to improve communications and reinvent our association to put us in the best possible position to face these challenges. The FCCA will be working diligently to make the very best of this environment by offering as much assistance and support as we can to our membership. In this article, I will set out to explain some of the reasons why FCCA membership matters.

The Federal Court Clerks Association (FCCA) announces that the period for nominations and declaration of candidacy for the National Office of SECRETARY and for the CIRCUIT DIRECTORS for the ODD-NUMBERED Circuits for the term 2013-2015 is now open.
