Introducing the FCCA's new Career Guidance Program
Monday, January 05, 2015 12:00 PM

The Deputy Clerks Council has spent the past year developing procedures and the web page for the FCCA's new Career Guidance Program (CGP).  The CGP is a peer-to-peer process which utilizes the knowledge and career advice of our more experienced members to assist other FCCA members who seek guidance regarding their career development.  At this time we are enrolling the Volunteer Advisors who will serve to assist CGP Participants.  Advisors will be assigned on a one-to-one basis and will be consulted prior to each assignment to ensure their availability at that time.  Please see the attached flyer and consider volunteering your services for this initiative which we expect will be a great value to our members!

2015 Membership Renewal News
Monday, December 15, 2014 07:00 AM

It is time to renew your FCCA Membership!  The 2015 Membership Year will run from January 1 to December 31, 2015, and the forms are now active online.  The NEW MEMBER forms are also active online.  The lifetime membership option will be available to deputy clerks for $200.00 until December 31, 2014.  Starting January 1, 2015, the Lifetime Membership option will increase to $250.00.  There is also a new Lifetime Membership option for retirees! To renew or join, click on the ‘JOIN US’ tab above.

Renewing Members will click on the ‘Membership Renewal’ form and follow the prompts to renew their membership online.  New Members will go to the ‘Membership Application’ and follow the prompts to create a profile and submit a membership form.

Payment options include PayPal, Credit Card, or Send Check. Members can mail their membership dues to be manually processed by the FCCA Treasurer, but are strongly encouraged to expedite their membership dues by accessing the online payment feature.

Members are urged to join at the beginning of the year in order to receive a full year of benefits.  Membership is required to attend the annual conference, which will be in Kansas City, Missouri in June 2015.  Please review your profile in MemberClicks for accuracy to ensure FCCA Journals, newsletters, digests, and communications are promptly delivered.  By entering your login and password, you can print your membership certificate and access the full “Members Only” side of the FCCA website.  Archived minutes, Journals and conference photographs are secured there.  Additional information on membership, including a complete listing of benefits, is listed on the 'Membership Information' page.

If you are interested in furthering your career, joining a professional association is a step in the right direction! An association is a synergistic group, meaning that the effect of a collection of people is greater than just one person.  Joining the FCCA will enhance your network, increase your career resources, and broaden your knowledge of the Judiciary.  We once again welcome you to join the largest association of Federal Judicial employees in the United States.
